Wonderful Walla Walla, Washington

We were happy to discover that Walla Walla is a vibrant town filled with interesting businesses, buildings, and people.

A big part of what makes the downtown thrive is the wine business. There are tasting rooms everywhere you look.

Having a two year old in tow kind of limited our ability to check these places out. We did manage to sample a few white wines at Charles Smith Wines and brought a bottle of wine home with us. The Charles Smith tasting room was clean and modern…

The gorgeous Liberty Theater in town has it’s original facade- but, the interior has been taken over by Macy’s department store…

A pizza pony. We found this cool The New Adventures of Zorro horse ride at Sweet Basil Pizzeria. Which, by the way, is a good place to go with young kids because there is a play area with books and a chalk board…
