Magnificent Manito Park

One of my favorite things about Spokane are the parks. I can easily walk to three unique and beautiful city parks from my home.

Manito Park is the Grand Dame of Spokane’s parks. When I moved here I remember how impressed I was by the gorgeous grandeur of the formal Duncan Garden.

I enjoy picnicking in the Perennial Gardens; stopping to smell the roses in the Rose Hill Garden, this garden gives the Rose Garden in my hometown of Portland “The Rose City” a run for it’s money.

My favorite part of the park is the serene, peaceful, and nuanced beauty of the Japanese Garden.
