Auntie’s Bookstore

Auntie’s Bookstore opened in 1978 and has been catering to bibliophiles ever since.

Unfortunately with the advent of eBooks, brick and mortar bookstores selling physical books have really taken a hit. One way a lot of bookstores are dealing with this is by supplementing their merchandise with complimentary items like book themed bags, socks, shirts as well as other things that appeal to a literary loving crowd…

I was really tempted to take the Silk-Screen Printing book from the Free Book box- but, my voice of reason, a.k.a. my husband, dissuaded me…

I would love to see Auntie’s expand it’s art, photography, design, fashion section (especially the fashion section which consists of just a small handful of titles). I think that design books filled with inspirational, artful, beautiful photos could be the saving grace of brick and mortar bookstores.

Auntie’s Bookstore is located at 402 W Main Ave
